Business Unit: Motus Car Rental
Reports to: Senior Manager: eCommerce and Integrations Development • Ecommerce
Based at/in: Bruma (Zulberg Close), Johannesburg
Position overall objective
The purpose of the position is to coordinate business requirements between business stakeholders and technical developers in order to co-develop, maintain, implement and monitor E-Commerce strategy and related plans, resulting in seamless digital experiences.
Job Outputs
Consult and engage with technical developers and business stakeholders to gather business requirements to provide technological alignment within areas of infrastructure, data, applications and compliance.
Analyze, interpret and resolve any break points within E-Commerce systems.
Assist developers in crafting the best solutions to ensure E-Commerce strategy is achieved.
Drive management and execution of seamless digital experiences.
Implementation of new functionality as and when it becomes available across the E-Commerce platforms.
Understand and drive business/customer requirements, technical constraints and project methodologies.
Ensure adherence to online governance and standards to protect the company brand.
Support in ensuring the achievement of E-Commerce channel sales targets.
Ensure E-Commerce systems are accessible to a wide range of customers using a variety of digital platforms and devices to ensure easy access to the company website.
Keep abreast of current and evolving best practices and technical standards.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of experience within a similar environment
2 years are at a specialist level.
Minimum Qualification:
Degree/Diploma within IT/Technology/Computer Science (NQF6)
Minimum Requirements:
Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
Computer literate: proficient at an advanced level in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Strong ability with technical specifications, data flows, server architecture diagrams, ER diagrams, API framework documentation (ability to review).
Strong aptitude in understanding general API, XML and Integrations.
